The Time Has Come!
Hello my amazing Oncers!
You may think I've forgotten about this blog, but you couldn't be more wrong. I've been dying to continue working on it! Unfortunately, college and life got in the way.
This semester was a very hard one. French and College Algebra truly took all of my time and energy, not to mention Principles of Retailing and Business Law. French had 7 assignments due every week and College Algebra had 3. It was truly a nightmare! And let me tell you, learning a language online is nearly impossible. It was great in the beginning! But then I got severe bronchitis in October and went through several rounds of antibiotics until finally getting rid of it at the end November. Try doing 2 months of voice recording assignments that are graded on pronunciation when you can barely talk! Let's just say between my scratchy voice, my stuffed up nose, my squeaky voice, and the microphone static, I'm lucky I got in the 80s on those assignments!
And then with Math? Yeah... I didn't even do well in high school with this, let alone do well while having severe bronchitis for half the semester. Yet, I somehow managed to end the class with an 88% though, so yay me! Then again, I did get extensions so instead of only having one week I sometimes got 2, so I think that helped! (Absolutely ADORE my instructor for being so gracious about the homework and quizzes during my bronchitis)
So, in short, with everything that was going on, unfortunately writing my blog was my last priority because it was all I could do to keep up with homework and try to get better! HOWEVER! I'm now 100% better, the semester is over, and I'm ready to tackle this blog project! I can't guarantee I'll be done with Season 1 by the time it returns in January, but I'm going to do my very best over the next two months to get up to date! Plus, I kept the first half of Season 2 on my DVR, so I can work on Season 2 as it's happening. We won't have to wait until it comes to DVD!
If you're willing to continue this journey with me, I'll be very glad to share my thoughts and theories with you, and would LOVE to hear your comments and thoughts on what you read as well! My first goal is to get all of the character pages up and posted in the order of their appearance, then I'll fill in the information once they're all set up and ready to go! Each episode I'll be taking notes on the episode, then organizing it into characters. Once I get my notes ready, I'll start writing the bios of each character and what's happening to them currently in the series. As I progress through the episodes, I'll update character pages already created, as well as post new character pages as characters get introduced.
If anyone has any questions I'll answer them and help clear any confusion the best I can! I know Season 2 was very confusing for some people, so if you have any questions on certain characters, please don't hesitate to ask, even if I'm not to that point in the series yet! I have no trouble taking a look at that episode and clearing anything up I can. So please, pile me with questions!
