Once Upon A Time Character List

Here you will find every spell caster, gypsy, fairy, princess, and dwarf you have ever come to love through Once Upon A Time! I will be posting them in Alphabetical order, and the characters will be listed twice - once as their Storybrooke name, once as their Fairy Tale name. There will be two sections to help make this easier! In each list, I will put their opposite name in parenthesis. For example, Regina/The Evil Queen would look like Regina (The Evil Queen) in the Storybrooke List, but The Evil Queen (Regina) in the Fairy Tale List. I hope this all makes sense! It's time!

Hello my beautiful Oncers!

Tonight's the night! Season 2 of Once Upon A Time has begun! And of course, there's that ever wonderful recap episode just prior! While I'm not going to get into long depths tonight, as I'm going to save it for when I have more time as I have already talked about, I am in fact going to use this recap episode to introduce some characters in part, at least in the sense of giving them a 1 sentence introduction for now, and giving them a place in the Character List, which you can get to by clicking this link or by looking through the posts.

I am posting the Character List first so that it is easily accessible to everyone without getting buried! I will update it whenever I enter a new character into the blog, and I will link it with every character profile as well, so it'll always be easily accessible. Whenever there are characters that are a part of the background story, I will link their character profiles as well so you can easily check back and forth and remember who everyone is and keep everything straight.

The Beginning

Hello Oncers!

I know it's been awhile since I made my initial post getting everyone excited about what is to come, but unfortunately I've hit a roadblock. As you may or may not know, I am a full time college student and college will always come first until I finish my degrees.

The past 2 weeks I've been very sick with some sort of head cold that grew worse every day. Fortunately, I am feeling 110% better than I have been thanks to my mother making an amazing crock pot full of home-made chicken noodle soup! Unfortunately, being sick for so long really gotten me behind on my college work schedule. So, as a repercussion, I'm swamped with homework.

I have 44 assignments due by October 4th alone. Unfortunately, because this is going to keep me so busy, I'm not going to be able to really work on the Once Upon A Time Blog until break in November, or even the second week of December when the semester ends.

I know this means that I won't be posting characters in order of their appearance like I had originally intended, but I will definitely get everyone's story up and posted as fast as I can! I also know that this may seem like forever to finally be able to really work on the blog and update it completely between Season 1 and Season 2 information, but I really hope you will stick with me through this and keep checking back and giving input with things you may have caught that I didn't! Or even just general chatting about the introduction of new characters or about new plots that have been discovered!

I wish I didn't have to do it like this, but unfortunately there's no other option. I do still hope that this blog will be interactive and will really get my fellow Oncers talking and participating in the release of new information! By Season 3, this blog should be completely up to date, or at least that is my goal. Then we can continue on as it was meant to be; with the introduction of characters as they appear in the show.

I have recently purchased the Once Upon A Time Book written by the Brothers Grimm and illustrated by Kevin Tong, which includes an introduction by the writers of Once Upon A Time, Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis, so their original stories will be incorporated into my posts on each character as well as soon as I can find the time to read these stories and do a write-up of them.

I am also taking full advantage of the information released through the Facebook game Once Upon A Time and incorporating this into my posts as well. Between all of these avenues, I know we can piece these stories together and keep these characters straight! It'll take effort from all of us to make this blog is a huge success that's talked about all over the internet!

I don't want to let this idea go, as I know there are many people who are looking forward to this log being kept on each character in order to keep them straight and remember their stories in chronological order, so please bear with me as I try to get this blog going as soon as possible!

When Season 2 starts on September 30, 2012, I will be opening posts based on the characters introduced and focused on within that episode. I will try to remain as current as possible for this season, and will add in Season 1's information as soon as possible. I know this isn't turning out exactly as planned, but sometimes you have to roll with the punches.

At this point, I would rather keep updated with Season 2's released characters, back stories, and plot lines, and then go back and fill in what has been revealed in Season 1, in order to keep the blog as current as possible in that respect. By going back, we can make more connections to the recent information and really dive in. I know it's a little backwards, but sometimes that can be fun and beneficial! Especially because it will get you remembering and thinking about not only the past, but the future as well.

I truly hope I am able to work on this more fully before November! We shall see what is in the cards for me as the time draws near.

The Thought That Started It All

Once Upon A Time.... Precious words that have turned dark, but have not lost all hope.

ABC has taken the stories of the Grimm Brother's and have turned them into an intricate plot in their brand new TV series called Once Upon A Time. From the beginning I have been entranced by the writing, the story, the back story, and the ability to mash Fairy Tale time with Real World time. The amazing casting, the beautiful effects and scenery, and the gorgeous wardrobes have not only enhanced the series, but have made them more real than anyone could imagine. You feel as if you are right there beside the characters, like you are having what's been done to them be done to you. These feelings captivate you and make you fall in love with the series and it's characters even more with each passing episode.

I have been in love with these tales since I was little, and have been too impressed for words with the amazing story that Edward Kitsis & Adam Horowitz have created for this series. My only problem is, how do you keep track of all of the characters, their back stories, and now their real world stories, and how do you remember those characters that you never see again once introduced? I have been re-watching Season 1 and I have to say, there are so many characters that you never see again, yet you continue to wonder their story!

This is my mission for this blog: to create a post for each character as they are introduced and update them as new information comes to light. Each post will be titled with the character's Fairy Tale name as well as their Real World name. I believe that writing this blog will help me to keep track of these characters, their stories, and what we keep finding out about them through flashbacks in later episodes. Personally, because everything is not in chronological order, but tends to skip and jump around, I find it hard to keep track of what happened when! This will be my second mission for the blog. To keep rewriting their information until it's all in chronological order, the updates and additions from each episode being chronologically kept track of at the bottom of each post. My third and final mission for this blog is to talk and discuss about each episode, as well as have posts dedicated to questions and answers from the comments of my blog.

I hope that you all will find this blog useful in helping figure out these characters that keep showing up in Storybrooke, and I hope that you will all comment and discuss the series and these characters as you read and follow their stories with me!
